Bryan Drury (North Bay On.) is joining the Bandits as a scout this year.  Prior to joining the 99ers, Bryan was a product of the North Bay AAA system where he played Major Midget  AAA as a Major Bantam in The Great North Midget League.

Bryan was drafted in the 9th round by the Guelph Platers of the OHL. He continued to play 3 full seasons with the team in Guelph and Owen Sound.  Bryan’s final year of OHL Bryan played 13 games for his hometown team, North Bay Centennials. He stayed on the roster until Christmas, working to train the younger Defence, at practices.  After Christmas Bryan finished off his career with the Antigonish Jr. Bulldogs team, helping them to succeed in a play off run, unfortunately losing in the division Finals.

Bryan returned to North Bay and was involved within Minor Hockey and the Midget Team, coaching and developing young players.  Bryan has been a certified coach for over 20 years.  He has coached for several teams from Novice to Midget, both female and male hockey leagues.  For the 2021/2022 season he is the Defence coach for his daughters U-18 A team in Ancaster.

Bryan has been involved in several development programs and was the Developmental Coordinator for the Brantford Girls Hockey Association, being one of the proud founders of their Ice Kittens program that is still running today.

Bryan is currently a Motor Fuel and Tobacco Tax Inspector for the Ontario Ministry of Finance and is in year 25 of Public Service, where he started as a Correctional Officer for the Province.

Bryan currently resides in Brantford with his wife Dana and 3 children, Brayden, Alexis and Emilynn.
